SFCC / Demandware Lead

Technical Skill Requirements: SFCC, Java, Demandware

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop our core eCommerce platform.

  • Support website activities ensuring proper maintenance & stability of all applications in scope. Duties include ongoing ticket reviewing, communicating the status of resolution, impact analysis, end-to-end ticket resolution, etc.

  • Guide the team of developers through development & support tasks. Duties include leading code review discussions, maintaining and communicating a production release schedule, leading touch base meetings with key stakeholders, participate in the technical design, onboarding developers as per the requirement, etc.

  • Govern the platform ensuring safe use of Demandware resources. Duties include reviewing/mitigating/resolving of error logs and performance issues, etc.

  • Ensuring that all web best-practices are adhered to properly for standards and compliance activities of eCommerce applications.

 

Required Skills:

  • Good understanding of complex eCommerce implementations on Demandware platform with Java back-end activities.

  • Experience of working in a DW service framework.

  • Proficient in Demandware foundational concepts with knowledge of Site Genesis, UX Studio, Pipelines, ISML templates, DW Scripts, Content Assets/Slots, and Demandware catalog including catalog, category, and products.

  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design and analysis, site performance, and business manager concepts in a DW environment.

  • Experience of working in a scrum and an agile development environment.

  • Proven track record of delivering mission-critical, enterprise web applications.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work seamlessly as a part of a multi-site, multicultural development team
