Role and Responsibilities
- Actively participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, development, testing and roll-out, and support.
- Monitor the jobs and work with different teams in case of failures.
- Solve complex business problems by utilizing disciplined development methodology, producing scalable, flexible, efficient, and supportable solutions using appropriate technologies.
- Analyze source, target system data, and map the transformation that meets the requirement.
- Interact with the client and onsite coordinators during different phases of a project.
- Effectively communicate with business stakeholders and architects.
Skills and Experience
- 6+ years of experience in developing Big Data applications.
- Prior experience in large-scale Big Data and Analytics applications.
- Hands-on experience in using technologies like Spark, PySpark, Python, and AWS.
- Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Expertise in implementing solutions using AWS Virtual Private Cloud, EC2, AWS Data Pipeline, AWS Cloud Formation, Auto Scaling, AWS Simple Storage Service, EMR and other AWS products, HIVE, and Athena.
- Experience in using distributed systems and handling large amounts of data.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong experience in using Agile Scrum.
