Description
GSPANN is hiring Liferay Developers and Leads for Anywhere in India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain solutions on Liferay.
- Work in Agile Methodology - be part of sprint ceremonies, provide accurate estimates for assigned development stories, and deliver them on time.
- Follow best and recommended practices while implementing solutions.
- Ensure code quality, readability, maintainability, and security.
- Co-ordinate with multiple teams (Ex: UI/QA) for any dependencies.
- Write JUnit Test Cases for Unit Testing.
- Create low-level design documentation.
- Communicate with customer teams on requirements effectively.
- Manage customer expectations of response time and issue resolution
- Troubleshoot and reproduce the technical problems reported by customers and define workarounds.
Skills and Experience
- Over 5 years of work experience in Liferay, developing pages and forms.
- Hands-on with the end-to-end implementation of the Liferay portal, Liferay extension environment, and developing various kinds of Liferay plugins.
- Good knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and UI frameworks.
- Strictly adhere to the development plan prepared by the architects and guide the team for any query in J2EE, XML, XSLT, XSD, HTML5, Ajax, jQuery, and JavaScript.
- Expertise in developing extensions, custom components, collaboration, workflow, and forms is desirable.
