Role and Responsibilities
  • Act as a single point of contact (SPOC) to all stakeholders.
  • Lead and sustain a high-performance team that supports production operations.
  • Drive triage calls and take complete responsibility for reporting incidents and root-cause analysis.
  • Identify areas of improvement, automation, and shift left and implement the same.
  • Define standard procedures, service-level agreements (SLAs), and come up with runbooks for the project.
  • Derive patterns for issues in production.
  • Drive governance calls and create analytical reports.
  • Analyze performance issues and provide suggestions for performance tuning.
  • Identify and implement different monitoring tools.
  • Understand the business impact and provide effective communication to stakeholders.
  • Transform support team to Site Reliability Engineers.
  • Define and drive accelerators.
Skills and Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, technical operations, and running large-scale applications.
  • At least 3 years of experience in team management is mandatory.
  • 5+ years of experience in running shift-based support teams.
  • Good understanding of the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework and various IT Service Management (ITSM) tools available in the marketplace.
  • Expertise in application monitoring tools Splunk, Dynatrace, Quantum metrics, Thousand Eyes, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in setting up dashboards using any of the application performance monitoring (APM) tools.
  • Prior experience in maintenance support of the e-commerce domain.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of incident management and a holistic view of application monitoring setup.
  • Should have a very good understanding of Java.
  • Excellent communication skills with expertise in managing and motivating high-performance teams and individuals.
