Description
We are looking for Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) Backend Developers and Leads. As we march ahead on a tremendous growth trajectory, we seek passionate and talented professionals to join our growing family.
Role and Responsibilities
- Take ownership of team deliverables and provide estimates for various tasks or modules.
- Track and report development progress and performance regularly.
- Understand client requirements, implement necessary SFCC modules and extensions.
- Interact with the clients and their respective team leads to resolve dependencies and formulate report status.
- Perform necessary configurations like assets, slots, promotion, campaigns, site preferences, and content, using SFCC Business Manager.
- Design and develop features like customer account, shopping cart, product search, order management, promotions, social commerce, etc.
- Conduct backend development using Commerce Cloud script, controllers or pipelines, and Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA).
- Use jQuery, HTML, and CSS in frontend development.
- Work on integrations like payment methods, analytics, reviews, tax, social sites, search engines, etc.
- Analyze, debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems related to e-commerce and SFCC implementation.
- Write well-designed, testable code with defined quality standards.
- Perform self and peer code reviews as per SFCC standards.
- Handle maintenance and support activities of applications as required.
- Interact with the clients and solution architects to create end-to-end specifications for e-commerce solutions.
- Drive design decisions for overall solutions and document specifications.
- Collaborate with the solution architect to define quality standards and best practices.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in developing business solutions using SFCC (Demandware).
- Prior experience in SFRA would be an advantage.
- Expertise in using Pipelines, JS controllers, ISML templates, and real-time data exchange using web services.
- Hands-on experience of integrating custom services into SFCC. Good understanding of payment, tax, and OMS integrations.
- Expertise in Business Manager and configuring jobs.
- Good understanding of technical reports and Demandware limitations, such as quotas.
- Proficient in Demandware foundational concepts with knowledge of SiteGenesis, UX Studio, content assets or slots, and Demandware Catalog is desired.
- Thorough understanding of SFCC (Demandware) Script, XML, HTML5, CSS, Ajax, jQuery, JSON object definition, Java OOP, or Node.js.
- Expertise in RESTful web services, Ajax-driven client applications, and advanced JavaScript architectures.
