Description

Role and Responsibilities
- Translate functional requirements into technical requirements.
- Design and build high-performance, reusable, and reliable Apex code using best practices.
- Ensure the best possible quality of the application.
- Be a confident self-starter, take ownership of project work, and develop client relationships.
- Identify bugs and align with requirements during debugging.
- Write test classes for the class that you develop and ensure more than 80% code coverage.
- Test bug fixes to ensure they work as per requirements, then deploy them to production.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other relevant subject areas. 2 years of additional relevant professional experience would be accepted in place of the degree.
- Experience in Salesforce Service cloud, APEX development / Salesforce configuration/flows.
- 3+ years of experience in overall software development – designing, developing, and testing sophisticated solutions and code in web technologies such as Java, Scala, Node.js or similar.
- Prior experience in working in a distributed/cloud-based environment (e.g., Amazon EC2, GCE, Azure, etc.)
- Expertise in crafting and implementing web services.
- Experience in a microservice architecture, domain-driven design, and RESTful services using languages like Java.
- Hands-on experience in NoSQL data stores like Cassandra, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
- Expertise in continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration tests. Experience in continuous delivery would be preferred.
- Good understanding of Scrum and agile principles.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Hands-on experience in performing technical code reviews.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to successfully connect with both business and technical teams.
