Description
GSPANN is looking for a Technology Product Owner (PO) to support the Operations and Logistics domains focused on Node (Warehouse Management). This role entails building solutions for new functionalities for all our Distribution Centers moving to Active WM according to our roadmap.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead a product team of 8-10 people using Agile principles.
- Participate in Program Increment (PI) planning sessions with the team’s Scrum Master, and other Product Analysts to understand the business vision and create plans and objectives for the upcoming PI.
- Work with the team during PI on the backlog of work for each iteration delivering value in a two-week Agile sprint.
- Work closely with Product Managers and other Product Owners to understand and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Represent the customer in sprints to the delivery teams and prioritize sprints to ensure technology alignment with business priorities and strategies.
- Take accountability of what is agreed to work on within a sprint.
- Provide customer service to our technology and business partners for onboarding, adoption, and documentation.
- Measure and report the value provided by the Product team offerings and provide regular updates to stakeholders on product priority, delivery, and adoption.
- Contribute to the overall roadmap and prioritized backlog.
- Manage product backlog and prioritize backlog items as per business needs.
- Prioritize features and other work in consideration of roadmap, value, and strategy considerations.
Skills and Experience
- Prior experience in Distribution Centers and Warehouse Management Systems, along with Manhattan WMOS, is preferred.
- A growth mindset and passion for lean and agile processes and frameworks like Scrum and Kanban. Good to have experience with Scaled Agile processes.
- Good knowledge of System Integration concepts (like event-driven, API, and cloud-native) is desirable.
- Expertise in database query and data analysis.
- Comfortable working with agile tools like Jira, Confluence, Lucid charts, or similar tools.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate business functionality and opportunities into clear, precise, and easy-to-read functional specifications.
- Easily adapt communication style across cultures.
- Strong business acumen to quickly learn new business processes and understand how technology can support the business in achieving revenue and profit goals.
- Exhibit the qualities of situational leadership as well as someone who can work with a team and pull the team forward to deliver business value.
- A self-starter who can learn on the job.
- Should be flexible and have an ability to deal with ambiguity, with a desire for continuous personal growth.
- Prior experience in successfully developing and implementing a system/ product/service/feature/ for a customer, evaluating its performance, and proposing and executing approaches to continually improve it.
- Create collaborative relationships with technical, design, business, and support teams and display a strong team behavior.
