Role and Responsibilities
  • Act as a single point of contact (SPOC) for the client during the development of solutions or applications.
  • Participate in proposals of assigned clients - scoping, estimations, etc.
  • Collaborate in upcoming milestone plans, key deliverables, assumptions, commercials, and dependencies.
  • Take complete ownership and ensure to promptly deliver the assigned projects in top quality.
  • Take accountability for managing project schedules and provide technical guidance to the team.
  • Monitor project baseline to ensure that all activities progress as planned.
  • Ensure all client SLAs are consistently met.
  • Participate and drive all Agile ceremonies like sprint grooming, planning, retrospectives, etc.
  • Identify productivity and quality process improvements and incorporate as needed.
  • Guide the team in requirement closures, design, development, and verification/validation tasks.
  • Guide the team in domain aspects.
  • Ensure that the team maintains a high level of competence and operational excellence.
  • Publish daily, weekly, monthly status reports with metrics for the internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify risks and dependencies; develop mitigation plans.
  • Establish strong relationships with the client.
  • Account mining - identify new service opportunities with the clients and sales team to close the deals effectively.
  • Thought leadership - identify business problems and come up with ideas for the clients.
  • Generate and execute onboarding, training sessions, knowledge transfers, and skill-building plans.
  • Motivate and mentor the team members.
  • Manage team appraisals and retention processes.
  • Make presentations and demonstrations for the clients and the internal management team.
  • Encourage and guide team members to write white papers and blogs.
Skills and Experience
  • Expertise in e-commerce domains like Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)/ Magento / Hybris. Good knowledge of SFCC would be preferred.
  • Must have prior experience in Agile execution methodology.
  • Technical background in Java is desirable.
  • Prior experience in managing a team of 8-10 members.
  • Hands-on experience in Jira is desired.
  • Strong background in delivering projects with first-time-right and zero defects in production.
  • Must have experience in interacting with clients.
  • Expertise in using estimation techniques like Use Case, Function Points, Story Points.
  • Should have excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
