Role and Responsibilities
  • Act as a single point of contact (SPOC) during the development of solutions or applications.
  • Participate in architecture, design, program planning discussions with senior stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Design, develop, and deploy standardized metrics and dashboards to ensure timely delivery of projects or tracks.
  • Take complete ownership and ensure to promptly deliver the assigned projects in top quality.
  • Manage multiple tracks or projects of any engagement.
  • Work with onshore and offshore account managers in identifying new opportunities and resource requirements.
  • Take accountability for managing project schedules within the timelines and budget agreed with the client.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities of like proposals, proof of concepts (POCs), etc.
  • Build effective relationships with the client for efficient project management.
  • Work with HR and hiring teams to ensure timely fulfillment of resource needs.
  • Define best practices and mentor team members.
  • Define, follow, and perform the best practices for code review.
  • Identify the training required for the account and work with respective departments to ensure resource readiness.
  • Proactively identify project or resource risks and take corrective measures to mitigate the risks for successful client deliverables.
  • Conduct support activities to ensure the maintenance and stability of all applications in scope. The activities include reviewing ongoing tickets, communicating resolution status, conducting impact analysis, and providing end-to-end ticket resolution.
  • Participate in all agile ceremonies like sprint grooming, planning, retrospective, etc.
Skills and Experience
  • Strong experience in complex e-commerce implementations using SFCC (Demandware) or other e-commerce platforms, like Hybris, WebSphere Commerce, etc.) with backend experience in Java.
  • Candidates with a good understanding of SFCC (Demandware) foundational concepts, SiteGenesis, UX studio, pipelines, Internet Store Markup Language (ISML) templates, content assets / slots, controllers, Storefront Reference Architecture, Business Manager, Open Commerce API, etc. are desirable.
  • Sound knowledge of e-commerce domains such as Order Management System (OMS), Product Information Management (PIM), Pricing, Promotions, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Third-Party Logistics (3PLs), integrating branded content sites, supply chain and fulfillment process, etc.
  • Expertise in defining end-to-end solution architecture covering technical deployment architectures along with non-functional and performance aspects are desirable.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design and analysis and site performance.
  • Required prior experience in Java, microservices, REST/SOAP API, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, and Node.js.
  • Expertise in Scrum and working in an agile development environment.
  • Good to have quality exposure to web content management systems, like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Drupal, Oracle WebCenter Sites (OWCS), etc.
  • Proven track record delivering mission-critical enterprise web applications.
  • While prior experience in B2C implementation and rollouts is desirable, hands-on experience in B2B would be a huge advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of cloud infrastructure in any popular platform, like Amazon Web Services, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
  • Ability to work seamlessly as part of a multisite, multicultural development team.
  • Should be self-motivated and driven to achieve the committed milestones.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to mentor and be mentored is desirable.
  • Experience in managing 40+ resources in a single account or multiple accounts.
  • Should have prior experience in client-facing projects and of working in a matrix organization.
  • Good knowledge of using estimation techniques like Use-Case Points, Function Points, or Story Points.
  • Hands-on experience in making presentations and demos for the customers and internal management team.
  • Prior experience in pre-sales activities like working on requests for proposals (RFPs) / requests for information (RFI), POCs, and drive proposals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
