GSPANN is hiring an Atlassian Support Engineer with 8+ years of experience for a full-time role. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership, problem-solving skills.
Role and Responsibilities
  • Build deep knowledge of the business and understand the end-to-end customer journey.
  • Partner with stakeholders to improve the design, visibility, availability, scalability, and performance of services.
  • Automate manual processes efficiently, dive deep into incidents, and facilitate blameless post-mortems.
  • Measure data using standardized telemetry to improve alert management, decision-making, analysis, and various optimization techniques.
  • Support planned changes with deployment and post deployment monitoring, creating new dashboards or alerts as needed to monitor system changes.
  • Evaluate open-source and vendor products, create proofs of concepts, and migrate applications to the external cloud.
  • Adhere to crucial company controls required to meet internal or external audit requirements.
  • Exhibit inspirational leadership by building a talented, cohesive, result-oriented, and healthy team environment.
  • Build value-proposition presentations, case studies, and accelerators.
Skills and Experience
  • 7+ years of strong experience in supporting Atlassian Tools - Jira, Confluence and BitBucket - installation, configuration, data centre versions, administration, troubleshooting/production support), Linux, and MySQL.
  • Good to have knowledge on Java, Rest API, and Groovy Script.
  • Hands-on experience working with high-volume and mission-critical applications.
  • Have a strong understanding of the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework and various IT Service Management (ITSM) tools available in the marketplace.
  • Provide engineering solutions for gathering or publishing data and event collection across distributed architectures, automation, monitoring, intelligent alerting, and self-healing.
  • Have a deep appreciation of IT tools, techniques, systems, and solutions.
  • Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills related to cross-functional issues amidst changing priorities.
  • Stay flexible and resourceful in managing swiftly changing operational goals and demands.
  • Remain passionate about operational excellence and governance.
  • Good experience in handling escalations and take complete responsibility and ownership of all critical issues to ensure logical closure.
  • Excellent communication skills along with experience in driving triage calls involving different stakeholders.
