Role and Responsibilities
- Analyze and define user needs and translate them into system requirements/epics/user stories/data mapping documents.
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing financial processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Document business requirements, use cases, and process flows to guide system design and development.
- Work closely with IT teams to design and configure financial systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
- Participate in system configuration, customization, and integration activities to meet functional specifications.
- Monitor system performance and data integrity, proactively identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
- Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and enhancements in collaboration with IT teams and vendors.
- Continuously evaluate system capabilities and recommend improvements to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, workflows, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls in all financial system activities.
Skills and Experience
- More than 6+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst.
- Must have prior experience in working with the Content Management System, preferably Liferay, in the Manufacturing domain.
- Good understanding of functional documentation, as-is and to be process flows, functional testing, test script creation, UAT testing, Implementation plans, change management help, Business demonstrations, etc.
- Experience with manufacturing company, knowledge of master data and experience working with bill of materials, install base and material master data.
- Thorough with ERP integrations of upstream and downstream systems.
- Support integrations and enhancements for custom and packaged applications like Liferay, software key generation, escalation management.
- Responsible for documenting functional designs for digital transformation project for identified integrations, enhancement for knowledge management workstream.
