This role involves defining, implementing, and configuring SAP Sales processes and managing non-SAP applications for the Sales Business Unit. The ideal candidate will analyze complex business problems and deliver effective solutions.
Role and Responsibilities
  • Define, implement, and configure business processes within the SAP Sales process, specifically SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Sales and Distribution (SD) modules.
  • Manage non-SAP applications supporting the Sales Business Unit.
  • Analyze complex business problems to define cost-effective solutions.
  • Identify gaps and provide technical expertise for business requirements, scaling systems, processes, and procedures cost-effectively.
  • Configure system settings and options to plan and execute unit and cycle testing.
  • Support business end users during integration and user acceptance testing to meet business requirements.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to address business or system issues.
  • Provide daily support to business teams, addressing production issues and resolving challenges.
  • Leverage a thorough understanding of SAP CRM and SD functions, collaborating with Business and IT teams to resolve system problems and identify improvements.
  • Focus on Opportunity, Quotation, and Sales Order management.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to address business challenges related to planning, manufacturing, and logistics.
  • Demonstrate experience in cross-functional projects, including upgrades, enhancements, and acquisitions.
  • Understand enterprise structure configuration for sales and integration assignments.
  • Perform hands-on solution design, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, process design, and development for current and new projects.
Skills and Experience
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field is required.
  • 8+ years of SAP experience with a focus on SAP CRM & SD in a manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technologies as needed.
  • Detail-oriented team player with strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Self-directed with experience managing priorities and timelines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels, including customers, vendors, peers, stakeholders, and management.
  • Experience in the sales domain is beneficial.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in project management.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA Sales Process capabilities.
  • Experience in global SAP implementations or rollouts, particularly with complex multi-system interfaces.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based and on-premises integration technologies, such as SAP Cloud Platform Integration and Migration Cockpit.
  • Expertise in condition techniques for pricing, tax, accounts, output, and partners.
  • Proficiency in SAP CRM Sales & SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), including order types, item categories, and schedule line categories.
  • Experience with applications built on SAP Web Dynpro, SAP Portal, SAP Web UI (CRM), and SAP Fiori.
  • Familiarity working with technical teams, including ABAP, Basis, Portal, Security, and new dimension technologies.
  • Integration experience with product configuration (VC) and order BOM.
  • Flexibility to work with partial overlap in the PST time zone.
