Description
We are looking for someone who can manage the compensation lifecycle and benefits for GSPANN members across all locations. This includes partnering with businesses, key corporate function stakeholders, and HR business partners. Also, build and communicate an effective Total Rewards Strategy that enables retention and attraction of talent.
Role and Responsibilities
  • Design compensation packages and bonus programs that align with the company’s strategic plan.
  • Assess the organization’s pay structure.
  • Ensure salaries and benefits comply with the current legislation about human rights and pay equity.
  • Identify trends and implement new practices to engage and motivate employees.
  • Conduct research on employee satisfaction (like using surveys and quantitative data).
  • Renew compensation plans with monetary and non-monetary benefits based on employee needs.
  • Keep track of prevailing pay rates and make sure we offer competitive compensation plans.
  • Draft job descriptions, job analyses, and classifications.
  • Structure compensation in ways that will yield the highest value for the organization.
  • Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of employee benefit programs.
  • Track compensation and benefits benchmarking data.
Skills and Experience
  • Graduation/Post Graduation in Human Resources Management, Finance, or relevant field.
  • 4+ years of core experience in managing compensation and benefits.
  • Prior experience in HR operations, HRIS (HR information system) or payroll software.
  • Should be analytically inclined. Must have strong analytical capabilities to analyze trends, surveys, and spreadsheets to determine compensation and benefits strategies.
  • A detail-oriented person who understands how compensation fits into the overall objectives of the organization.
  • Must have strong ethics and discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
