GSPANN is looking for Delivery Managers to lead and drive our cloud-based data engineering projects within our Information Analytics Practice. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in project management, a deep understanding of cloud-based data technologies, and a passion for delivering high-impact data solutions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex data analytics projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their data needs, translate requirements into actionable project plans, and provide regular updates and insights on project progress.
- Team Management: Build and lead project teams consisting of data engineers, data analysts, and other relevant experts. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Cloud-Based Data Engineering: Leverage expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) to design, implement, and optimize data engineering solutions, including data ingestion, storage, and transformation processes.
- Risk Management: Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues that may impact project timelines and deliverables.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality of project deliverables by implementing best practices in data engineering and analytics and conducting thorough testing and validation.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, technical documentation, and client communications.
- Budget and Resource Management: Manage project budgets and resources effectively, monitoring expenses and resource allocation to ensure optimal project performance.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a Delivery Manager in data analytics or data engineering projects.
- Strong background in cloud-based data engineering, with expertise in platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or scrum master certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and technologies (like SQL, Python, Spark, streaming analytics) is advantageous.
