Role and Responsibilities
- Design integration workflow using industry-proven enterprise application integratiin (EAI) design patterns to implement complex, highly scalable, and high-volume integrations.
- Design and develop Mule components (Mule ESB flows, DataWeave / Mule Expression Language (MEL), validations message models, routing, database, and exception handling.
- Analyze integration requirements, perform gap analysis, and define transformations that will help in meeting the requirement.
- Interact with business users (clients), and onsite coordinators during all phases of software development lifecycle.
- Deploy and manage processes in MuleSoft on-prem, cloud environments.
- Apply API-led connectivity concepts and design principles.
- Perform code reviews; ensure that peer reviews are formally documented.
- Unit test solutions to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Assist in CI/CD deployment procedures.
- Manage a team of developers and ensure quality is always met.
- Design, build, deploy, configure, and manage APIs.
- Get involved in pre-sales working for new opportunities.
- Provide technical guidance to other team members.
- Assist in pre-sales activities to demonstrate MuleSoft capabilities and perform required POCs.
- Access and modify Mule messages.
- Structure Mule applications and deploy them into multiple environments.
- Implement data transformation logic using DataWeave.
- Write and test MUnit test cases for all scenarios.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of total experience in the profile and MuleSoft integrations and migration.
- Expertise expected in Java (80%) and MuleSoft (20%).
- Should be hands-on with Java Spring Boot.
- Good understanding of AWS - S3, SNS, Athena, Cloudwatch, and Kafka.
- Should be confident in using built-in connectors like databases and external system connectors like Salesforce is a plus.
- Experience in Java Message Service (JMS) / IBM MQ, controlling Message Flow is desirable.
- Hands-on experience in web services SOAP and amp; REST Services, XML and JSON.
- Must have prior hands-on experience in Java
- Certification in MuleSoft and Some experience/awareness in Mule 4 and Mule 4 SDK - preferably creating Mule custom connectors - is good to have.
