Description
GSPANN is hiring an L2 Network Engineer with 4+ years of experience to manage and troubleshoot SD-WAN gateways, firewalls, L2/L3 switches, and Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM). The role, based in Hyderabad, also requires expertise in DHCP, DNS, and network automation tools like SolarWinds.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot SD-WAN gateways, firewalls, and load balancers with hands-on experience using Palo Alto Panorama.
- Coordinate field dispatch and oversee network transition management.
- Apply knowledge in asset management, change management, and incident management following ITIL standards.
- Perform live vulnerability and patch management.
- Configure, maintain, and manage network backups.
- Update and configure Aruba Central, Airwave, and ClearPass.
Skills and Experience
- Hands-on experience in managing, configuring, and troubleshooting (both remotely and on-site) Layer 2/Layer 3 (L2/L3) switches, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and Quality of Service (QoS) policies, including firmware upgrades.
- Knowledge and experience in managing and troubleshooting DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) and DNS (Domain Name System) services.
- Familiarity with managing, configuring, and troubleshooting wireless infrastructure, including Wireless Access Points (WAPs) and controllers.
- Experience in administrating Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and managing VoIP phone configurations (Certification preferred).
- Expertise SolarWinds, including Network Performance Monitor (NPM), Network Configuration Manager (NCM), NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA), and Network Automation Manager (NAM) to monitor, automate, and manage network operations.
- Proven experience in monitoring ISP, network infrastructure, log incidents and manage issue triage, escalation, and resolution.
- Experience in defining and maintaining operational documentation.
- Preferred certifications include CCNA, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), and Aruba Certified Switching Professional/Certified ClearPass Professional (ACSP/ACCP).
