GSPANN is looking for a Looker Developer . As we march ahead on a tremendous growth trajectory, we seek passionate and talented professionals to join our growing family.
Role and Responsibilities
- Build dashboards based on a wireframe defined by business user (Looker visualization).
- Create new dimensions or measures based on data that is already available in Looker (LookML).
- Create aggregate awareness tables in Looker development to address speed issues on dashboards (LookML) .
- Create drilling/linking to enable action based on reporting (LookML and visualization).
Skills and Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in dashboard building and LookerML build-from-scratch experience.
- An SQL expert who is good at working on the development side of things in Looker and has an advanced understanding of SQL.
- Expertise in working with complex SQL datasets.
- Confident in building SQL scripts using BigQuery Syntax
- Hands-on with MSSQL and writing Stored Procedures and debugging skills.
- Experience in Cassandra DB will be a plus.
- Must have a working knowledge of GCP.
- Should be comfortable in performance tuning of BigQuery SQL scripts.
- Experience in BI development using other visualization tools is good to have.
- Working knowledge of scripting languages to allow scheduling of BI dashboards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum model.
