Role and Responsibilities
- Act as SPOC for the solutions/ applications being developed, interacting with the client.
- Participate in scoping, estimating efforts, etc.
- Collaborate on creating milestone plans, key deliverables, assumptions, commercials, dependencies, etc.
- Collaborate and develop an OMS strategy that aligns with the client’s objectives.
- Drive solution architecture, design and maintain efficient, and reusable customizations.
- Make critical technical decisions to meet client expectations.
- Define best practices and standards.
- Define the code review process for the team to follow and perform code reviews for customizations.
- Ensure that the team maintains a high level of technical competence.
- Provide thought leadership by identifying business problems and developing ideas to build solutions & frameworks to offer to various clients and monetization.
- Generate and execute skill-building plans.
- Assist in hiring the right talent for the organization.
- Motivate and mentor team members.
- Contribute to white papers and blogs.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities.
- Contribute to practice-related activities.
Skills and Experience
- 12+ years of experience in PIM (Salsify, Akeneo, Syndigo, etc.) and Java/J2EE, JavaScript.
- Mandatory experience in PIM implementation with two different products (like Salsify & InRiver).
- Designing the overall architecture of the PIM system, including data models, workflows, and integration points.
- Designing and implementing integrations between the PIM system and other enterprise systems, such as ERP, e-commerce platforms, and DAM (Digital Asset Management) systems.
- Customizing the PIM solution to handle specific business needs, such as product attributes, categories, and classifications, workflows.
- Experience with Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN).
- Experience in implementing security measures to protect sensitive product information, including access controls, encryption, and audit trails.
- Experience planning for scalability to accommodate growing data volumes and increasing numbers of users and integrations.
- Experience in web services (REST & SOAP).
- Knowledge/Experience with any public cloud like AWS, AZURE, or GCP is an added advantage.
- Very strong experience in designing medium to large enterprise applications.
- Should have knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, MQ, Rabbit MQ, JMS, etc.).
- Exposure to authentication, authorization, and SSO using JWT, OAuth, and SAML is required.
- Experience in pre-sales from defining end-to-end solution architecture covering technical, deployment architectures, non-functional & performance aspects, and proposals.
- Experience in the retail (e-commerce) domain is mandatory.
- Very strong implementation experience using Test Driven Development, Domain Driven Design, and clean code principles.
- Should have client-facing experience and have worked in matrix organization & onsite-offshore models.
- Experience in using estimation techniques like (Use-case, FP, and Story points).
- Experience in creating presentations, and demos for customers and internal management team.
- Experience in Agile execution methodology is mandatory.
- Should have excellent verbal, and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience in practice-related activities like Developing POC, Accelerators development, Tools/Framework/Platform evaluation, and contribution to Marketing collaterals.
