Description
GSPANN is hiring Power BI Support Engineers to join our team in Hyderabad or any offshore location. Leverage your expertise in Power BI Administration, Power Apps, Power Automate, CI/CD, Shell Scripting, and Azure to deliver efficient data solutions and drive innovation.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage and configure user access and permissions within the Power BI service.
- Assign roles such as Admin, Member, Contributor, or Viewer to both users and groups.
- Create and maintain collaborative workspaces for teams.
- Organize dashboards, reports, and datasets while ensuring their security.
- Implement data governance policies to uphold data security and compliance standards.
- Monitor and adjust data access and sharing settings as needed.
- Track the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure efficiency.
- Develop and manage seamless integrations between Power BI, PowerApps, and Power Automate.
- Build custom applications with PowerApps to improve data interaction and visualization.
- Integrate PowerApps with Power BI dashboards for a unified experience.
- Collaborate with development teams to connect Power BI solutions with other applications.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Administer PowerBI platform, Gateway installations, upgrades, and configurations.
Skills and Experience
- Handle software installations and system upgrades efficiently.
- Configure proxies to ensure secure connectivity.
- Optimize and maintain Power BI workspaces for improved functionality.
- Manage Power BI Premium capacities effectively.
- Ensure tenant security by adhering to best practices.
- Administer licensing and user management processes proficiently.
- Create and execute Shell Scripts for automation tasks.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and integrate Power Automate with PowerApps.
- Integrate Power BI with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).
- Understand analytics architecture involving Azure Databricks.
- Leverage development experience in BI tools to analyze models and datasets.
- Administer Qlik systems with in-depth knowledge of QMC.
- Work with additional Azure technologies, PostgreSQL, and Python scripting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot Studio and its setup is a plus.
