Description
GSPANN is hiring Service Desk Analysts to join the team in Hyderabad to ensure effective and efficient handling of technical support requests. This full-time role involves leading a team of technicians, establishing and monitoring service level agreements (SLAs), troubleshooting escalated issues, and continuously improving support processes.
Role and Responsibilities
  • Supporting day-to-day store operations in the Retail industry.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the service desk, ensuring efficient and effective support for IT-related issues.
  • Lead and manage the service desk team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure the POS systems are functioning correctly, performing regular maintenance and updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to POS hardware and software.
  • Work on integrating POS systems with other retail systems, such as inventory management and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of store activities, optimizing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee store staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring products are stocked and available for customers.
Skills and Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in supporting day to day Store operations in Retail industry.
  • Hands-with incident and service desk management and other support operations.
  • Must have excellent communication skills to interact with store associates.
  • Expertise in supporting e-commerce applications and database systems is desirable.
  • Support Database systems and manage store technologies like POS, Store devices, etc. is mandatory.
  • Thorough with asset management and expertise in leading support teams is crucial.
  • Good knowledge of network and Java programming language is added advantage.
