Role and Responsibilities
- Design, build, and modify existing business-tier components and database objects using Microsoft Azure Platform (Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Functions, and Databricks).
- Conduct unit and system-integration testing and fix issues.
- Implement complex, highly scalable, and high-volume data pipelines.
- Analyze source, target system data, and map the transformation that meets the requirement.
- Interact with the client and onsite coordinators during different phases of a project.
- Guide and train the existing IA talents in Azure technologies.
- Implement Azure Data Factory Pipelines using the latest technologies and techniques.
- Ensure effective design, development, validation, and support activities in line with the client’s needs and architectural requirements.
Skills and Experience
- Prior experience in Azure Data Lake Storage is mandatory.
- Expertise in Azure HDInsight, Transact-SQL, and storage strategy.
- Hands-on with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Functions, and Databricks.
- Comfortable working with Spark, Python, and PowerShell.
- Must have excellent problem-solving, critical, and analytical thinking skills.
- Experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and automation would be strongly preferred.
- Should be able to interact and collaborate with the team members.
- Good in managing structured and unstructured datasets.
- Prior experience in data modeling and advanced SQL techniques is desirable.
- Should be willing to learn new technologies.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication/articulating skills.
