Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare technical architecture infrastructure design, form content strategy, set up digital marketing suite, help clients with marketing channels, and monitor the client communication team.
- Conduct sprint planning, project planning, production maintenance, and performance tuning.
- Create industry-specific digital architecture with roles involving analysis design, development, administration, and integration of distributed architecture applications in web-based internet/intranet, client-server.
- Develop powerful features such as multisite and multichannel delivery personalization targeting content aggregation syndication, multilingual support, automated workflow management, social media, etc.
- Set up bootstrapping for project review and recommend an approach for migration.
- Define and implement key technical constructs of the program.
- Interact with clients to create end-to-end specifications and solution architecture for content collaboration solutions.
- Provide inputs and direction to senior developers and Architects in the team for design and implementation.
- Define implementation processes, quality gates, and standards for design and development.
- Define best practices to manage performance security and scalability of the digital platforms.
- Establish strong, effective working relationships with multiple stakeholders across the global organization.
- Coordinate and direct the internal and vendor development teams on regular development activities.
- Review and provide feedback on the technical competency of the resources for both internal and external onboarding.
- Be directly involved in technical details as and when needed for critical issues.
- Provide technical leadership, architecture, oversight on implementation.
- Assess, recommend, and document current and proposed changes to system and application processes pertaining to the Commerce platform.
- Review, propose, document, and publish design, coding standards, and development processes to ensure high-quality application delivery.
- Synthesize robust and cost-effective technical solutions against customer requirements, for example, provide buy versus build decision-making and high-level architectural recommendations.
- Design solution architecture for projects with enterprise applications in Commerce, Catalog, and Content Management Systems (Commercetools or any other API-first Commerce solutions).
- Architect and deliver very complex end-to-end e-commerce solutions either for B2B or B2C.
Skills and Experience
- At least 8 years of experience in e-commerce with expertise in solutioning and delivering B2B and B2C.
- Mandatory 5 years of experience in Commercetools or any of the similar API-based MACH architecture platforms.
- Strong experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) or any cloud infrastructure is a must.
- Should have strong communication skills to manage senior-level client stakeholders.
- Must have experience in working with and managing the technical teams in multiple geographical locations.
