Description
GSPANN is looking for a QE Performance and Automation Engineer. As we march ahead on a tremendous growth trajectory, we seek passionate and talented professionals to join our growing family.
Role and Responsibilities
- A good team player who understands the onus of the project.
- Develop test strategy, test planning, and test approach for products.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain test scenarios and test cases for functional/ manual/ web-based applications across different platform offerings.
- Detect and report defects and close follow-up to ensure closure of issues.
- Participate in scrum calls with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Work on refactoring the existing framework as per the requirement.
- Execute and analyze a variety of performance tests such as Baseline, Load, Capacity, Stress, Volume, Endurance, and other non-functional tests preferred.
- Monitor application logs to determine system behavior.
- Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability, and scalability.
- Perform root cause analysis of performance issues and suggest corrective actions.
- Analyze the CPU utilization, memory usage, network usage, garbage collection, and database parameters plus database reports to verify the performance of the applications.
- Identify memory leakage, connection issues and bottlenecks in the application.
Skills and Experience
- Good reasoning and analytical skills to understand the QA process and execution.
- Would be required to work from the office.
- Minimum 5+ Years of relevant experience in Performance Test Engineer.
- Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Workload Design, Test Cases Design.
- Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management & Configuration Management.
- Expertise in Performance Testing using JMeter (Blazemeter), NeoLoad & LoadRunner Tool.
- Expertise in Java and Beanshell scripting in JMeter is desirable.
- Good experience in APM tools like NewRelic, Grafana and log aggregation tools like Splunk.
- Thorough with web/ desktop/ mobile/ APIs-based applications and technologies.
- Hands-on with test management software (like Jira), source control systems (like GIT, BitBucket), and build management tools (like Maven, Bamboo, Jenkins).
- Should have knowledge of SQL/MySQL queries.
- Experience working in a Linux environment.
