Description
GSPANN is looking for a Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Architect. As we march ahead on a tremendous growth trajectory, we seek passionate and talented professionals to join our growing family.
Role and Responsibilities
- Design enterprise-wide e-commerce solutions that include specific expertise in digital, e-commerce solutions.
- Review the existing architecture and make recommendations for improvements.
- Improve cycle time and faster services to frontend from third-party systems. Develop solutions to ensure a system of record integrity.
- Provide technical, architectural, and development value and leadership on e-commerce platforms following software design methodology standards.
- Work with Solution Architects to establish a technical vision for the project based on business requirements.
- Provide development estimates for large feature sets to Architects and Project Managers to build Work Breakdown Structures and project plans.
- Offer subject-matter expertise to the project delivery team and other third-party development teams as needed.
- Collaborate with Technical Architects / Solution Architects to create and maintain strategic roadmaps, principles, standards, and reference architectures.
- Maintain and monitor projects of technical architecture structures from business capability to applications to data, establishing technical architecture compliance.
- Provide guidance to Project Managers and Business Analysts in developing requirements and establishing compliance with business architecture, enterprise, and functional area strategic roadmaps.
Skills and Experience
- 10+ years of overall application engineering and technology experience.
- Knowledge of enterprise-level technical solutions within the retail and e-commerce landscape is a must.
- 10+ years working in a senior technology engineering and/or architecture role is a must. Relevant experience in leading e-commerce systems (SFCC/Demandware, KIBO Commerce, Shopify, Commercetools, Sitecore Commerce, EPIserver Commerce, etc.)
- Technology agnostic and has worked on multiple different applications. Experience in e-commerce subsystems and all business models (B2B/B2C/D2D).
- Expertise in developing business solutions using SFCC/Demandware.
- Advanced knowledge of e-commerce strategies, commerce operations management, and omnichannel Order Management Systems.
- Working knowledge of analytics platforms.
- Expertise in RESTful web services, Ajax-driven client applications, and includes Advanced JavaScript architectures.
