Role and Responsibilities
- Act as a single point of contact for the client to discuss about the solutions/ applications being developed.
- Participate in scoping, estimating efforts, etc.
- Collaborate in developing milestone plans, key deliverables, assumptions, commercials, dependencies, etc.
- Collaborate and develop an integration strategy that encompasses the goals of a client.
- Drive solution architecture, design, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable applications/ frameworks.
- Manage the team in delivering the project and provide technical guidance.
- Participate in all Agile ceremonies, such as sprint grooming, planning, retrospectives, etc.
- Identify productivity and quality process improvements and incorporate them as needed.
- Guide the team in requirement closures, design, development, and verification/validation tasks.
- Take critical technical decisions to meet client expectations.
- Define best practices and coding standards.
- Define code review process for the team to follow and perform code reviews.
- Ensure that team maintains high-level of competence and operational excellence.
- Identify business problems and come up with ideas to build solutions and frameworks to offer to various clients and monetize.
- Generate and execute onboarding, training, knowledge transfer, and skill-building plans.
- Assist in hiring the right talent for the organization.
- Motivate and mentor team members.
- Contribute to white papers, blogs, case studies, and other resources.
Skills and Experience
- 12+ years of experience in integration tools, Java / J2EE.
- Very strong in enterprise integration tools like Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, TIBCO, Biztalk, webMethods, IBM IIB, Apache Camel, etc.
- Experience in web services (REST and SOAP).
- Expertise in messaging systems (Kafka, MQ, Rabbit MQ, JMS, etc.)
- Hands-on with API Management (APIGEE, MuleSoft, Zuul, etc.)
- Experience in Azure Integration Services is highly desirable.
- Thorough with Dell Boomi / MuleSoft.
- Excellent in design patterns, data structures and algorithms, OOAD
- Experience in pre-sales-defining end-to-end solution architecture covering technical, deployment architectures, non-functional and performance aspects, and drive proposals.
- Experience in the retail–e-commerce domain is required.
- Experience in using version control and CI / CD tools like SVN, GIT, Jenkins, Hudson, Clover etc.
- Exposure to authentication, authorization, a single sign-on using JSOM Web Token (JWT), OAuth, Security Assertion Markeup Language (SAML) is required.
- Experience in Integrated Development Environment (IDE) like Eclipse, IntelliJ, NetBeans, etc., and Maven is mandatory.
- Proven delivery experience with high code quality.
- Very strong implementation experience using test-driven development, domain-driven design, and clean code principles.
- Strong background in delivering projects with first-time right and zero defects in production.
- Should have client-facing experience and worked in a matrix organization with an onsite-offshore model.
- Experience in using estimation techniques like (Use-case, FP, Story points).
- Experience in making presentations, demos to customers and internal management team.
- Experience in Agile execution methodology is mandatory.
- Should have excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
