Role and Responsibilities
- Plan, design, build, manage, and review content that complies with the website standards.
- Participate in frontend web development project life cycle from pitch/prototyping through definition and design to build, integration, quality analysis, and delivery.
- Assist Project Managers with effort estimation, timeline planning, and requirement gathering for projects.
- Inculcate a culture of innovation and high quality in teams.
- Influence, collaborate, and communicate effectively with various leaders to motivate or mentor a team.
- Work in a fast-paced development environment.
- Interact with product owners, business analysts, testers, and developers.
- Design overall solutions and individual applications.
- Contribute toward excellence in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Handle team concerns with guidance from the division head.
- Identify team members’ capabilities and utilize them to the organization’s advantage.
Skills and Experience
- Advanced-level knowledge of JavaScript and Functional Programming.
- Expertise in JavaScript, ES6, ES7, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Webpack.
- Prior experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) is mandatory.
- Proficient in building RESTful web services.
- Well-versed with JavaScript design patterns.
- Good understanding of design principles to build scalable and data-driven applications.
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and knowledge of performance testing, application tuning, and load testing.
- Strong experience with the design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
- Experience with test-driven development along with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
- Thorough understanding of Unix-based systems and command-line interfaces.
- Expertise in Git/GitHub or other distributed version control systems.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas.
- Proficient in JavaScript unit testing.
- Good knowledge of performance testing, application tuning, and load testing.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
