The Challenge

The client's existing WordPress website was a good source of revenue generation for them, but the unstable website environment was impacting their business. The client was in an urgent need to fix the issues hampering the website performance, like web content overlapping, WordPress plugins upgrade, blocking illicit business requests, and simplified checkout process.

The client's WordPress website's functionality and performance were getting affected since most of the plugins were outdated. Moreover, their sales and marketing team was getting a huge number of junk requests from their Contact Us webpage. The client required some critical WordPress enhancements, such as plugin upgrades and Salesforce CRM integration to implement Google reCAPTCHA functionality and handle junk requests.

The Solution

As a solution to the client’s challenge, GSPANN’s experts upgraded the website plugins and implemented new functionalities for the WordPress website to enhance their IT services.

The upgraded plugins improved the functionality of the website that was getting affected due to outdated plugins. We integrated WooCommerce and optimized the website to meet the latest trends in personalized shopping and easy checkout process. Also, the content overlapping issue (related to dynamic content) for the website's mobile version was also fixed permanently.

Besides, the client’s functional requirements were captured through Atlassian Jira in an agile environment; the WordPress plugins functionality was analyzed after conducting a compatibility test for the entire website and upgraded to the latest versions. To overcome the web content overlapping issue, we developed a dynamic content logic in PHP and maintained static content using CSS and HTML. We successfully implemented the Google reCAPTCHA functionality through Salesforce CRM integration to control the junk contact requests.

We delivered a smooth functioning website in a stable WordPress environment. The client’s sales and marketing team can now easily filter legitimate and junk requests, which also provided a control over the business requests generated from the website’s contact page. The agile project methodology enabled us to deliver the solution in a pre-defined schedule.
